Project Description: Mary Parker House, Student Block
Built on the site of the former Royal Eye Infirmary hospital in Plymouth, the REI student accommodation project comprises 165 student bed spaces, derived from a mixture of cluster flats and studio apartments. The five storey steel framed development also includes gym space, study room and other communal areas and was delivered for the academic year.
QSPM undertook cost and project management services on the development, managing the relationship with an adjacent to a grade II listed building and liaising closely with Network Rail. QSPM also managed the transition of clients prior to works commencing on site, as the project was sold by Eagle One Ltd to Maple Grove Developments Ltd.
