Arts University Plymouth

Project Description: Palace Court – Higher Education Faculty Campus

Palace Court is home to five hundred 16-19 year-old students studying arts, crafts, design and media. The project involved the complete relocation of the Higher Education Faculty to new premises (Palace Court) within the city centre location and reconfiguration of the Further Education Faculty within their existing buildings (Tavistock Place).

QSPM assisted in the purchase of the new building, and undertook option appraisals to allow the client to understand the financial viability of the proposed premises. Along with the College’s Senior Management Team and Designers, QSPM managed the process to plan the new internal layout of the existing premises and appraised the works to ensure they were within the Client’s available budget and that the proposed scope of works could be completed by the next academic year.
